How does BioMoGo work? Traditional Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) midsoles last up to 1,000 years in a an enclosed landfill. BioMoGo turns into reusable byproducts in about 20 years. They added a non-toxic natural additive to their midsoles that anaerobic microbes find irresistible. When BioMoGo lands on their imaginary dinner plates -- deep inside a moist, enclosed landfill – they munch it into biodegradable nutrients 50 times faster than traditional athletic midsoles. By 2028, Brooks alone will save 29.9 million pounds of landfill waste.
