Each year Air Force ROTC Detachment 105 at the University of Colorado hosts a Memorial 5k race in memory of one of our most distinguished fallen Alumni, F-16 pilot, Captain William H. “Pyro” DuBois Jr. The race course winds through the beautiful University of Colorado Campus in Boulder, CO. All proceeds from the event go directly toward the Pyro’s Wings Memorial Scholarship fund which helps current Detachment 105 Cadets gain valuable flight experience to boost their chances of earning their own Air Force pilot slot and carrying on Captain DuBois’ legacy. Please join us on April 23rd for a morning filled with fun, food, and Pyro’s legacy!
Same-day race registration will be offered for $25.
Registration/Check-in will begin at 9 AM, the race will begin at 10 AM, awards will be at 11 followed by a post-race cookout!
Awards will be given to the top three male and female runners in the following age groups: Overall, Under 18, 18-35, 35+
Raffel ticket included with every ticket.
The Pyro Memorial 5k is an Official Qualifying Race of the BolderBoulder 10K, our nation’s largest memorial day tribute!
