Then on Sunday morning\, we have the 1/2 MARATHON and 10K. All trail races start and finish at the Cal-Wood Education Center\, and are run on a number of different trails throughout the beautiful private properties of Cal-Wood and Balarat Outdoor Education Center. \nWe have cabin lodging or camping on Saturday night\, as well as a great pasta dinner prepared. After the race\, celebrate your accomplishment with your family\, friends\, and fellow participants at our after race party. We will have food\, beer\, and music\, so come on up and enjoy everything Cal-wood has to offer.

DESCRIPTION:The Evergreen Town Race is a fundraiser for the Alpine Rescue Team.  Both the 5K and 10K courses wind gradually down Upper Bear Creek\, with a finish near Evergreen Lake. This course treats participants to one of the most scenic and fastest races in Colorado. In fact\, this may be one of the best races you have ever run! The fastest 5K ever run in Colorado was run on this course – 14:07 by Jason Hubbard in 1998.
