Molly comes to us from our neighbor in the North-East the cornhusker state. She grew up in the town of McCook Nebraska, but left home to run for the Oklahoma State Cowboys. As a Cowgirl she racked up many awards and honors including All-American, Big 12 championships, and All Big-12 in the Mile, 1,500 and Distance Medley.
She is now training with Colorado Springs Track Club Elite working hard to get her 1,500 m time even lower! Her biggest challenge was getting used to the altitude, but now that she has acclimated she is running better than ever.
Her first job at a shoe specialty store was back in McCook. Working at Runners Roost has allowed her to broaden her knowledge about the shoes and gear she gets lots great use out of. It also allows her to help her customers match with product that will let them enjoy running as much as she does.
She has a dog named Bowie who likes to go on the easy runs with her, which is completely understandable seeing as how finding a man, woman or beast that can keep up with her is a formidable challenge.
